Mapjam & Gardening day @ Lundby Library

Listed by: Grow Here
Welcome to learn gardening DIY-crafts, seed swopping and a Mapjam-workshop with Grow Here on Lundby library’s gardening day!
* Seed exchange day
According to tradition, Lundby library organizes an annual cultivation and seed exchange day! Bring the seeds you have too much of and bring new exciting varieties home!
* All children can fold paper-pots!
We teach you how to make your own pots with the help of newspapers!
* Map the local farming movement!
We warmly invite you to our “Grow Mapjam” – where we collaboratively map the local farming movement in and around Gothenburg on the GrowGbg map! The event will be held at Lundby Library is free of charge.
Take the opportunity to co-create the digital Grow Here platform where you can share and find farm-land, existing gardening/farming projects and courses and events around local farming.

What is a mapjam?

A MapJam is a session where a dedicated group will come together for a few hours to map as many sharing services in a city as possible. In this case, we invite farming interested, existing farmers and garden owners to map the uprising movement of urban and local farming. Perhaps you even have land you want to share for someone else to grow food on? Join us and we help you find growers through adding it on the platform.
