A community garden in Majorna:
Silverkällan’s Garden Collective (Silverkällans Odlarkollektiv) is an association where we grow together in Majorna. We cultivate the whole surface together – the social aspect is important, we work and learn together.
We want to contribute to local organic food production in the city – as part of a change to a more sustainable Gothenburg, and a contribution to a greener and more vibrant district.
The area on which we grow is approximately 600 square meters and has been granted by the City of Gothenburg’s Park and nature management department. The association has also received support from the municipality’s project “Stadsnära Odling“.
