Community Garden in Förslöv

The community garden started in the spring of 2015 by a bunch of enthusiasts and aware neighbors in the village of Forslöv on the beautiful Bjäre peninsula in northern Skåne, Sweden.
Together we grow vegetables, fruits and berries with inspiration drawn from Charles Dowding and others.

We all have an interest in sustainability issues, knowing the content of what we put in us, learning from each other, and being in a community. We would also like to inspire others to grow their own vegetables and compost more.

We arrange various events during the year where we bring together people who are interested and want to know more about gardening and farming for self-sufficiency. On the spring, we normally invite to a garden event with socializing, plants to take home and the opportunity to enjoy organic homemade “fika” under a parasol in the greenery.
